Farrier's Formula® Double Strength is a pelleted hoof and coat supplement that can be added as a top dressing on the regular feed or given separately. It provides nutrients such as phospholipids, omega fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and important amino acid "protein building blocks" for a healthy hoof and hair coat. These nutrients are provided at twice the concentration compared to original Farrier's Formula®. Farrier's Formula® Double Strength supplies the nutrients required for building strong hoof capsule connective tissue in the correct balance and ratios. It promotes strong and fast growth of the hoof wall, sole, frog and heel. Farrier's Formula® Double Strength also promotes a glossy more deeply coloured coat and strengthened connective tissues of the joints and ligaments. Adult Horses: Top dress or mix with regular feed. For each 1000 lbs (450 kg) of body weight feed one half measuring cup* (119 ml or 85 g) of product per day. Body Weight 500 lbs: 1/4 Cup (43 g) Daily Body Weight 1000 lbs: 1/2 Cup (85 g) Daily Body Weight 1500 lbs: 3/4 Cup (128 g) Daily Body Weight 2000 lbs: 1 Cup (170 g) Daily Weanling to adults: Feed at the predicted adult weight from the chart above. Nursing Foals: Feed 1/8 measuring cup (2 tablespoon, 20 ml or 21 g) per day. Farrier's Formula® Double Strength is doping free and can be safely fed to competition horses. One 11 lb bag is a 60-day supply for the average 1,000 lb. horse.
